Our first Long Range Mountain browsing FPV flight nearly led to catastrophe. The flight up and across the mountain was instructional, however on the way in which again I received misplaced, could not discover the Home Point and needed to fly utilizing GPS Rescue Mode for nearly 90 seconds. GPS Rescue saved the day. The classes realized are famous on the finish of the video. This flight was 2.66 miles out about 1 mile climb utilizing the 7 inch quad. The mountain is 6315ft ASL, and a few 5200 ft climb. Complete boring video of the flight with OSD information, narration and pilot feedback. Testing a pair of O.R.T. 6 flip helical antennas. Also testing the brand new 6000mAh 5S1P 18650 LI-ION customized made battery.
