This film was completely shot with FPV drones in February 2020. Flying in these excessive circumstances proved to be an actual problem for each of us! We did develop a drone specifically tailored to these very excessive winds, 100% humidity and salt corrosion setting: a protracted vary distinctive beast, overpowered, tailor-made for Nazaré. We’ll speak extra concerning the machine in time: keep tuned! We did a number of journeys to Nazaré, the place we met, hung out, and befriended mad surfers and jetski, safety and SAR crews. We did be taught lots. To all of them, an enormous thanks; it’s such an unbelievable expertise to witness you defy logic, tame gravity, and seize these epic moments. We hope that by means of the FPV eye we are able to carry a special viewpoint, translating the sheer velocity, energy, and feeling of being launched in towin, surf a few of the largest, meaniest waves on the planet.
